About me
My name is Angelina Larrigan. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with two decades of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families across a wide spectrum of needs.
Life rarely comes with a map. My role is to walk alongside you on the unfamiliar terrain helping you make sense of what's hard, shift the patterns that keep you stuck, and step back into your own agency.
For children and teens, I put it simply: we'll work together to understand what's hard, and build the skills to make the hard parts easier.
Therapeutic approaches
No two people are alike, so no single approach fits everyone. I draw from a range of modalities and choose what fits you your history, your goals, your stage of life.
Who I work with
Big feelings in small bodies. Play-based and developmentally sensitive approaches help kids build emotional vocabulary and coping tools.
Navigating identity, school, relationships, and mental health. Strength-based work that meets teens where they are.
Depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, self-worth, and the weight of carrying it all. You don't have to keep managing alone.
Communication breakdowns, trust repair, premarital counseling, and rediscovering connection using Gottman Method principles.
Conflict, blended dynamics, parenting challenges, and rebuilding relationships across generations.
Late-life transitions, grief, loss of independence, and the particular shape of meaning-making in older adulthood.
Areas of focus
My philosophy
Therapy isn't a formula it's a collaboration. Think of it less like following a GPS and more like reading a map together. I bring the clinical expertise; you bring the knowledge of your own terrain. Together we find the route.
Many clients begin to notice meaningful change within a few weeks. Progress continues to unfold from there and I'll adjust our approach as you grow.
"As a therapist, one of my essential roles is to guide clients through life's uncertainties, illuminating the often dark and winding paths they may feel unfamiliar or unsure about navigating."
